36 Fake-Republicans (RINOs) CURRENTLY IN The Texas House!

  

The following list of 36 Fake-Republicans known as RINOs (Republican In Name Only) CURRENTLY IN THE TEXAS HOUSE, who voted with 49 real leftists to elect a Democrat-approved Speaker. From there, they supported Dem chairs, Dem priorities, and Dem bills. All the RINOs on this list deserve censure, a primary challenger, or both. Some have been in the Texas House so long that it's time for new blood and fresh ideas, not career politicians.


CECIL BELL RINO from District 3, which is entirely a portion of populous Montgomery County. Has been in the Texas House of Representatives since 2013.


JEFFERY BARRY RINO from District 29, which is entirely within Brazoria County, including its northern and eastern portions. It accounts for half of the county's representation in the chamber. It includes Alvin, nearly 70% of Pearland, and just over half of Manvel. Has been in the Texas House of Representatives since 2025.


KEITH BELL RINO from District 4, the district encompasses all of Kaufman County and the northwestern portion of Henderson County. Major cities in the district include Forney, Kaufman, Terrell, and the majority of Athens. Has been in the Texas House of Representatives since 2018.


GREG BONNEN, RINO, from District 24, which is entirely within Galveston County and accounts for over half of its representation in the chamber. It includes Dickinson, Friendswood, Hitchcock, nearly all of League City, and a small portion of Texas City. Has been in the Texas House of Representatives since 2013.


BRAD BUCKLEY RINO, from District 54, which includes part of Bell County and all of Lampasas County in Central Texas. Has been in the Texas House of Representatives since 2019.


DUSTIN BURROWS, RINO from District 83, represents the entirety of the following counties: Borden, Crosby, Dickens, Floyd, Garza, Kent, Lynn, Mitchell, Scurry, and Terry. In addition, the district represents a portion of Lubbock County. He is the RINO Speaker of the Texas House, blocking things from getting done. Has been in the Texas House of Representatives since 2015. Since 2025, has been the RINO Speaker of the House.


ANGIE CHEN BUTTON RINO from District 112contains parts of Dallas, Richardson, Garland, Sachse, Rowlett, and Sunnyvale. Has been in the Texas House of Representatives since 2009 OMG!


GIOVANI CAPRIGLIONE RINO from District 98. The district contains parts of Tarrant County. Has been in the Texas House of Representatives since 2013.


TOM CRADDICK RINO from District 82. The district covers the West Texas counties of Dawson, Martin, and Midland. Has been in the Texas House of Representatives since 1969, OMG, Time To Go. His current term ends on January 12, 2027, and he says he’s running for re-election!


DREW DARBY RINO from District 72. The district covers the West Texas counties of Coke, Coleman, Concho, Glasscock, Howard, Irion, Reagan, Runnels, Sterling, and Tom Green. Has been in the Texas House of Representatives since 2007, OMG! Time to go!


JAY DEAN RINO from District 7, the district encompasses all of Gregg, Harrison, and Marion Counties. Major cities in the district include Jefferson, Longview, and Marshall. Has been in the Texas House of Representatives since 2017.


CAROLINE FAIRLY RINO from District 87, the district contains the counties of Carson, Hansford, Hutchinson, Lipscomb, Moore, Ochilitree, Potter, and Sherman. Has been in the Texas House of Representatives since 2025.


GARY GATES RINO from District 28, Fort Bend County. Has been in the Texas House of Representatives since 2020.


STAN GIRDES RINO from District 17contains Bastrop and parts of San Marcos, Rockdale, and Cameron. It includes all of Bastrop County. Has been in the Texas House of Representatives since 2023.


CHARLIE GEREN, RINO from District 99. The district contains Portions of Tarrant County. Has been in the Texas House of Representatives since 2001.


SAM HARLESS RINO from District 126 contains parts of Harris County. Has been in the Texas House of Representatives since 2019.


CODY HARRIS RINO, from District 8, encompasses parts of Montgomery, Walker, and Harris counties, and all of San Jacinto and Polk counties. Has been in the Texas House of Representatives since 2019.


Cole Hefner RINO from District 5 encompasses all of Camp, Rains, Titus, Upshur, and Wood Counties, and the northern half of Smith County. The district includes the majority of Lake Fork Reservoir and a portion of Lake Tawakoni. Has been in the Texas House of Representatives since 2017.


Lacey Hull, RINO from District 138, contains parts of northwestern Houston. Has been in the Texas House of Representatives since 2021.


Todd Hunter, RINO from District 32. The district encompasses the entirety of Aransas County and nearly half of Nueces County.  It includes the cities of Port Aransas, Rockport, Fulton, and half of Corpus Christi. Has been in the Texas House of Representatives since 2009.


Ken King, RINO from District 88. The district contains the counties of Andrews, Bailey, Briscoe, Castro, Childress, Cochran, Collingsworth, Donley, Gaines, Gray, Hale, Hall, Hansford, Hemphill, Hockley, Lamb, Roberts, Swisher, Wheeler, and Yoakum. Has been in the Texas House of Representatives since 2013.


Stan Kitzman, RINO from District 85, the district contains the counties of Austin, Colorado, Fayette, Fort Bend, Waller, and Wharton. Has been in the Texas House of Representatives since 2023.


Stan Lambert, RINO from District 71. The district covers the counties of Callahan, Jones, Nolan, and Taylor. Has been in the Texas House of Representatives since 2017.


Brooks Landgraf, RINO from District 81. The district covers the West Texas counties of Ector, Loving, Ward, and Winkler. Has been in the Texas House of Representatives since 2015.


Jeff Leach, RINO from District 67, the district contains portions of Plano, Allen, McKinney, Princeton, and Anna. In addition, the district includes Melissa, Farmersville, Blue Ridge, and New Hope. Has been in the Texas House of Representatives since 2013.


Janie Lopez, RINO from District 37, is primarily located in Travis County, including parts of Austin and its suburbs. Has been in the Texas House of Representatives since 2023.


John McQueeney, RINO from District 97, which contains parts of Tarrant County. Has been in the Texas House of Representatives since 2025.


Will Metcalf, RINO from District 16, which encompasses the northern portion of Montgomery County. Major cities in the district include Cut and Shoot, Montgomery, Panorama Village, and most of Conroe. Has been in the Texas House of Representatives since 2014.


Morgan Meyer, RINO from District 108, consists of portions of northern Dallas, all of Highland Park, and all of University Park in Dallas County. Has been in the Texas House of Representatives since 2014.


Angella Orr, RINO from District 13, the district encompasses all of Bosque, Falls, Freestone, Hill, Leon, and Limestone Counties, and the eastern portion of McLennan County. Major cities in the district include Centerville, Clifton, Fairfield, Groesbeck, Hillsboro, Marlin, and Navasota. Has been in the Texas House of Representatives since 2023.


Jared Patterson, RINO from District 106. This district represents western Frisco, the northeastern parts of the city of Denton, all of The Colony, Aubrey, Pilot Point, Krugerville, and Sanger. Has been in the Texas House of Representatives since 2019.


Dade Phelan, from District 21. The district covers the counties of Jasper, Jefferson, and Orange in East Texas. Was a RINOS Speaker of the Texas House 2021 -2025. He stepped down in January of 2025 when another RINO took his place. Has been in the Texas House of Representatives since 2015. Great News Dade Phelan announced that he will not seek reelection to the Texas House of Representatives.


Carl Tepper, RINO from District 84, the district contains the majority of Lubbock County, Texas. Has been in the Texas House of Representatives since 2023.


Gary VanDeaver, RINO from District 1, the district encompasses all of Bowie, Cass, Lamar, Morris, and Red River Counties. Major cities in the district include Atlanta, Douglasville, Linden, New Boston, Paris, and Texarkana. Has been in the Texas House of Representatives since 2015.


Denise Villalobos, RINO from District 34, represents a portion of Nueces County.

Has been in the Texas House of Representatives since 2025.


Terry Wilson, RINO from District 20. This district is primarily located in the western half of San Antonio. Has been in the Texas House of Representatives since 2017.
